What an Internship Is
An internship with MORIS AI LEARNING AND CAREER INSTITUTE PRIVATE LIMITED (Moris AI Institute) is a structured period of practical, guided exposure intended to help you apply skills to realistic tasks, work on project assignments, practise professional communication, and receive feedback as part of career preparation.
An internship is a learning and development opportunity. It is not an offer of employment and does not create an employer–employee relationship unless a separate written contract of employment is signed.
Availability Is Not Guaranteed
Internship opportunities are limited and are not automatically included with every programme or offered to every learner. Availability may depend on the programme, eligibility criteria, your performance, overall capacity, project availability and applicable terms at the relevant time.
Moris AI Institute does not promise that every student or participant will receive an internship.
Eligibility
Eligibility for an internship is set for each opportunity and may include enrolment in or completion of a specified programme, a minimum attendance or assessment standard, completion of prerequisite projects, and an application or selection step. Where a learner is a minor, parental or guardian consent is required.
Selection
Selection may involve review of your programme performance, a task or portfolio review, and an interview or discussion. Selection decisions are made by Moris AI Institute and are final for a given cycle. Not being selected for one cycle does not prevent you applying for a future opportunity.
Duration and Structure
The duration, schedule, format (online, offline or hybrid), expected weekly hours and deliverables are those stated for the specific internship. Moris AI Institute may adjust project scope or timelines for operational reasons and will communicate material changes.
What Interns Can Expect
Depending on the internship, components may include practical exposure, project assignments, guided work, mentorship or review sessions, feedback, and career-preparation support. The exact components are those described for the internship you join.
Intern Responsibilities
As an intern you agree to:
- Participate actively and meet agreed timelines and quality standards.
- Communicate professionally and raise difficulties early.
- Follow the Acceptable Use Policy and any project-specific instructions.
- Use AI tools responsibly, verifying outputs and protecting confidential information.
- Keep confidential any non-public information you are given access to.
Confidentiality and Intellectual Property
You must keep confidential any non-public information, data, materials or project details shared with you during the internship. Unless agreed otherwise in writing, work produced as part of an assigned Moris AI Institute project may be used by Moris AI Institute for the purposes of that project, and you may reference your contribution in a personal portfolio only with prior approval and without disclosing confidential details.
Stipend
Internships are not automatically paid. Where a stipend or allowance is offered, the amount, conditions and payment schedule are stated in writing for that internship. Where no stipend is stated, the internship is unpaid and provides learning value only.
Certificate
An internship certificate may be issued on successful completion, subject to meeting the attendance, conduct and deliverable requirements set for the internship. A certificate recognises completion of the Moris AI Institute internship and does not imply any external accreditation or an offer of employment.
Ending an Internship Early
Moris AI Institute may end an internship early where an intern does not meet participation or conduct standards, breaches confidentiality or the Acceptable Use Policy, or where a project is discontinued. An intern may withdraw by giving reasonable notice. Early completion or withdrawal may mean a certificate is not issued.
Relationship to Job Guarantee
Completion of an internship does not by itself create a job guarantee. Any job-guarantee offer applies only under the published Career & Job Guarantee Terms.
Changes to These Terms
Moris AI Institute may update these Internship Terms. The version in force when you join an internship applies to that internship. The current version is published on the website with its effective date.
